For the Oro Blanco Special Reserve 111 Years, Davidoff invested generously and regularly in its large tobacco inventory.
When the time came to create the exclusive toro, the Davidoff Master Blenders selected only the most exclusive tobaccos from their vaults: They chose tobaccos that had been patiently ageing for 17 to 20 years per variety, with all the tobaccos in the blend combining to an impressive total age of 111 years.
The tobaccos from each terroir create different sensory experiences, as the different growing conditions result in different flavor profiles. One area in the Bonao terroir is not cultivated by Davidoff anymore today. Furthermore, this tobacco has never been used in a Davidoff cigar before. This makes the blend even more exclusive.
The toro features a Dominican puro blend of vintage tobaccos from five different terroirs in the Dominican Republic. One of the areas in one of these terroirs is no longer cultivated, meaning that the cigar contains tobacco that aficionados will not otherwise be able to taste. While each of the tobaccos has a considerable individual age, the combined age of all 7 tobaccos is an impressive 111 years. This makes the Oro Blanco Special Reserve 111 Years the cigar with the most aged tobacco on the market.
Both the single cigar and the box of ten come in an elegant branded wooden box with a striking wood grain reminiscent of the structure of a tobacco leaf. The Oro Blanco logo on the box is inspired by the rays of the sun, which are also reflected in the metal inset pieces that separate the vertical and horizontal wood structures. A branded metal plaque at the front of the tray adds sophistication that is underpinned by a smooth push and click system, through which the tray presents itself. The elegant box has a metal plaque on its side that can be personalized with your name.
