A medium bodied toro that uses Andullo Dominican tobacco as part of its filler. During the curing process, the tobacco is placed in palm seed pods, which is then tightly wrapped in rope. This process compresses the tobacco into a thick bar. The Mortal Coil's blend consists of an oily dark USA Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper draped over a USA Connecticut Shade binder and filler composed of Dominican, Dominican Piloto Cubano, Esteli and Jamastran tobaccos in addition to the Andullo.
